Default Equipped Rare Weapons Safe Guard @ Merchant

I want to see a safe gaurd against selling rare or any weapons in your "weapon bar" while selling at the merchant. I figured sooner or later I would accidently sell one of my weapons to merchant. Well it finally happend and I find it highly annoying that I have to remove a weapon from my weapon bar to salvage it, However you can easily accidently sell that weapon to merchant for a ridiculasly low price. It would be nice if u also had to remove the weapon from your weapon bar to sell it also to safe guard against this. Yes I accidently sold my 15^50% Fiery Dragon sword and Spatha (both with +30 health pommels) this morning on accident while farming and I got a measly 500g for em (they were both equipped inweapon bar), lmao. This is a perfect example of why there should be a safe gaurd requiring you to unequip the weapon before you can sell.......

They have helped out with this problem by keeping the bags checked or unchecked at the merchant. The best way around this is to use you Bags for weapons, and your belt/backpack for pickups. If you only have the pouch/backpack checked at the merchant you can just click away and not worry about selling your "good stuff."

When the merchant trade window is open, there are a few icons you can click on to disable viewing.

My belt pouch contains my secondary set of armour, so its always off in case I do something stupid.

I use a worthless quest item from pre-searing that won't ever get used again, such as the hunters horn. And i set all my wanted items behind it.

I guess i could just click the bags off from showing... but, that's what i do.

i do the same ^^ i put a quest item that you can't sell, and put above all items i need to keep preciously in order to salvage it or to sell it to players.

I just pay attention.

I feel for ya though, and they should probably fix it like you suggested.

When I return from a farming run, I sell off all my white things (carefully) and then move the remaining colored items to my front backpack. Then I id those, and sell them also.

I keep my extra offhands at the very last two spots in the last bag, and I also use a expendable gold item as a seperator.

yeah, i've ended up putting my extra armor sets and weapons in very last bag with a quest item in front of them to work as a blocker. nice trick to make sure this doesnt happen again..

Maybe implement a tag on weapons from being sold to merchant by clicking on it in your inventory and bringing up a dialog that allows for it to be harder to sell... i.e. if you try to sell, it will require you type the name in: "Vampiric Longsword of Fortitude" or w/e

Perhaps gold weapons require a yes or no confirmation, while tagged weapons need you to type in the name of it...

In other words, there should not be any selling of the weapon at all...

I've sacrificed the entire last bag for stuff not to be sold - which includes weapons from the weapon bar and some overflow from my treasure hoard...
